Report Alleges Gulf Royals Deposited $2B in Undisclosed Accounts Accessible to Jared Kushner; Kushner Rejects Claims as ‘Fantasy’

WASHINGTON — A report excerpted from an upcoming book by investigative journalist Matthew Cole alleges that Gulf royals deposited at least $2 billion across secret overseas bank accounts accessible to Jared Kushner while he served as a senior White House adviser during Donald Trump’s presidency.

The explosive allegations, published in Vanity Fair from Cole’s upcoming book Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East, claim that UAE leader Mohamed bin Zayed and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arranged significant financial transactions linked to Kushner.

According to the reporting, Kushner was observed accessing an account at First Abu Dhabi Bank in the UAE. The arrangement allegedly originated as a proposed fund between Gulf leaders to assist the administration with regional geopolitical priorities, with hundreds of millions routed through an intermediary bank in Azerbaijan.

The book details two accounts, designated as “Alpha” and “Beta.” While the “Alpha” fund was reportedly intended for broader diplomatic maneuvers, the report alleges that the second account was established for Kushner’s personal benefit. The excerpt further asserts that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu became aware of the funds and recommended transferring them to the Bank of Israel.

The reporting states that the accounts came to light after Dutch intelligence agencies monitored intercepts following a Russian military cyber breach of Kushner’s personal phone.

Kushner forcefully denied the claims, dismissing the allegations as entirely fictitious and calling them a smear campaign.

“The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened,” Kushner said in a public statement, emphasizing that no wire records, financial account numbers, or bank statements have been produced to corroborate the story. “None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened. These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism.”

Attorneys for Kushner maintained that his overseas contacts during his time in office were fully authorized, properly disclosed, and conducted in accordance with federal law and U.S. national security interests.

The report emerges as Kushner continues to engage in high-profile Middle East diplomacy and regional negotiations, renewing scrutiny over transparency, foreign financial influence, and ethics oversight for top administration figures.
