🇺🇸 25 YEARS LATER: AMERICA REMEMBERS 9/11

“Time has not dimmed the honor of that day when our country came face to face with true evil.”

President Donald Trump is marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as Americans across the country pause to remember the 2,977 people who were killed.

At a ceremony at the Pentagon, Trump joined first responders and families in honoring those who lost their lives. The commemoration included the reading of victims’ names and a solemn tribute to the victims of the attacks.

A quarter-century has now passed since the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93, yet the events of that day continue to shape American history and remain deeply personal for countless families.

Trump’s 2026 Patriot Day proclamation emphasized that an entire generation has now grown up without a living memory of September 11, making remembrance and education an important part of preserving the history of that day.

The anniversary is also a time to recognize the firefighters, police officers, emergency workers, military personnel and ordinary Americans who responded with courage during and after the attacks. Thousands of first responders and others exposed to toxic dust have since faced serious health consequences.

Twenty-five years later, the names remain.

The memories remain.

And for the families who lost loved ones, the absence remains.

🇺🇸 We remember the 2,977 victims.
🕯️ We honor the first responders.
🙏 We remember the families who continue to carry the loss.
🇺🇸 We will never forget.

September 11, 2001 — remembered 25 years later.
